I have just finished reading issue #1 of Power Bear by budding artist Lukasz Majcher. It is a lot of fun and it has set up an interesting storyline intersecting superheroes and comtempory issue of mental health. I am looking forward to finding out what happens next. If you are into sexy bears-led sci-fi comics, do check it out and support our fellow artist.
I was browsing the web and came across these beautiful drawings by Daniel aka Brute and Brawn Even though I am not into the “furry” genre of bear art, he does create many fantastic human and furry characters. Have a look at his works and I am sure you will find something you like.
I was chatting online with Sepp Engelmaier, aka Sepp of Vienna and I thought I should show some of his artworks here. He is brilliant at drawing diverse characters commonly found in the leather scene and his works had been used widely in advertising for many clubs. He is a friendly guy and do check out his site if you are into leather men.
New drawings have been added to the 2020 Gallery. Check them out.
I came across David Farquhar's work by accident and was immediately impressed by the way he depicted his subjects. His drawings are senual and sexy, very much something I like to achieve with my own work. If you are an admirer of hairy men and like to own one of his artworks, they are available for purchase.
Gengoroh Tagama is probably one of the most well known Japanese gay manga artist. His stories of hypermasculinity and sadomascochism are like no other. But in My Brother’s Husband, he brought his brilliant storytelling skill and remarkable pen work to a heart-warming story of gay love and loss surronding a Canadian bear and his Japanese husband’s family. I strongly recommend it if you are a fan of manga (and even if you are not).
The new series of photos from Oliver Zeuke feature in the latest issue of Mascular Magazine (No. 30) is breathtaking. He captures the masculinity of mature hairy men perfectly. Photomolekuel is the new brand of his photography, I am sure you will love his photography as much as I do.
I am honoured having some of my drawings appearing in the latest issue (No. 30) of Mascular Magazine. Some of my drawings have been reinterpreted as Greek Mythological characters exclusively for this publication because the theme for this issue is Fantasy. If you have not come across Mascular Magazine before, I strongly recommend it since it features diverse artworks focusing on the male form by artists from all over the world (and it is FREE).
These fun beardy bears are the creation of Italian artist Giovanni aka Red Phur His drawings are full of humour and imagination, it is impossible not to fall in love with them. See more of his colourful pastel artworks in his RedPhur website.
Three new drawings have been added to the 2020 Gallery. Check them out.
Based in Belgium, his black and white photos of men are sexy, sensual and sensitive. Certainly one of the best male portrait photographer I have come across. Do check out his portfolio of photos of a variety of subjects in his website.
Charlie Hunter has a been a huge inspiration for my drawings. His portaits of men have been exhibited internationally and many of his iconic artworks are instantly recognisable. Together with sound artist Mike Wyeld they created the Loved project which has received rave reviews across the LGBT and wider community.
Love Steve MacIssac's Shirtlifter graphic novel series. Shirtlifter is a comical yet touching insight about the bear community through snapshot of the life of his characters like the sexy muscle bear Matt. They are avaliable in both ebook and printed versions, plus art prints and T-shirts.
